It’s a decent place to stay, but beware of hidden resort fees if you’re planning on booking through an airline. Expensive parking, but so is everywhere else. Rooms were very clean, washer and dryer in the room was a great amenity. Make sure you check out on time, or you’ll get charged $119. (whoops)
Our room was great, very spacious and clean. The hotel workers were also very helpful and understanding. Expect to pay for parking if you have a rental it is a little walk from hotel room, to elevator to parking garage but overall okay. The area outside is not the best but it’s close to everything. Uber to Waikiki was 7-10 minutes and super inexpensive about 6-12 dollars depending what time you get it. We will be returning. The people’s other reviews complaining about the people outside, they won’t bug you, and their security is on it.
Extended stay in Hawaii? The rooms have a kitchen, sink, microwave and electric cook top with fridge. The bigger rooms come with laundry centers in the room. Just have to ask for more liquid detergent and dryer sheets. Choice between Mountain View or harbor view. Would recommend the king size bed rooms. Parking was 45$ daily was my only complaint.
This older hotel in downtown Honolulu is very comfortable, clean and with friendly local staff. I recommend it. My room was dated but spacious, quiet and clean with comfortable beds. The views of the mountains & city are lovely and the location provides lots of opportunities for local dining and downtown activities. Not a touristy area and very pleasant to stay there. Night time's a little sketchy in that area with a lot of homeless but the security at the hotel is great & I felt very safe. Daytime walkability in that area is great.
Everything was great. The staff was nice. The location was nice and the room was nice. Things are a little bit older but everything worked and was clean. No, it definitely stay there again not to mention the great price.
Rooms were nice but a little dated. The space and views are good. It is located downtown and a few blocks from water.
As others have mentioned it seems to vary based on room you get. Ours was lovely, the view from the bedroom was dreamy. The separate bedroom with washer dryer and full kitchen were lifesavers! The logistics were a little bit complicated, you need a card for the parking garage, a fob for the elevators and a key code for the room. The staff were very accommodating and were able to get us rooms next to our family. We did notice the washer was very dirty and moldy, but only tried to use it our last night so they weren't given the opportunity to fix it. Otherwise no issues with cleanliness. The TV options were different between the two rooms, one had streaming and one only had cable. If you're concerned about this just being a laptop to plug in. Overall, very enjoyable
